Was your first birth a caesarean and you're wondering about your options for your next birth? You are leaning towards a “natural” birth but feeling a bit overwhelmed. Your Vaginal Birth after Caesarean pregnancy needn’t feel scary, lonely or misunderstood. I’ve designed this dedicated VBAC package which will guide you, support you and build your confidence as you approach your next birth, its what I wished I’d been able to access in my second pregnancy.

If you are here and reading and exploring your VBAC options for a different birth this time around I know that you are already taking those all important steps towards reclaiming your birth experience. Deep down you know that the conveyor belt care approach isn't for you and you want to move towards finding the confidence to advocate for the birth experience you deserve, one that feels right and safe for you.

You are in the right place. I believe in you, your body's ability and your baby.

The VBAC doula package

This care package is designed for anyone navigating a pregnancy after a Cesarean - it can be entirely remote with all sessions held over Zoom, or if you are local to me in Bristol sessions can be held in your home.

You don’t even have to be 100% set on a VBAC - we can work though planned C Section options, even just helping you figure out which is right for you. My top priority is not not to influence your birth choices in anyway but to support you with evidence based, calm, practical and emotional support allowing you the space and time to reach the choices that are right for you and your family.

Your Care:

  • WhatsApp Support (8am-9pm) from booking through till 7 weeks after your baby arrives for you and birth partner. Through this we will build a strong and ongoing relationship. You can ask questions, vent, wobble, be curious. No question is ever considered silly, if its important to you, its important to me.

  • One 60-90 min session to talk about your previous birth(s) being at peace with and having space to fully explore your previous experience is crucial to for moving towards reclaiming your birth experience. This is not a therapy session, but a chance to talk through discuss and gently explore how your previous birth(s) have shaped the you that is now pregnancy again.

  • 3 × 2 hour antenatal sessions - this is where the real work happens. We we go deep into any worries, fears, risks. Go over essential birth mechanics, build your resilience for a system that is not always supportive of your VABC choices. It’s also a crucial space for birth partners to explore their own unique worries - build your confidence as a strong team together. Help you truly believe in your ability to birth your baby.
